I’m a lifelong artist currently residing in Brooklyn, New York.
I enjoy using a wide range of materials and mediums including clay, gouache, pen & ink, risograph, screen-printing, and relief printing. I am both self-taught and formally trained in these art forms, and I’m constantly exploring new mediums for creative expression.
I have always been inclined to incorporate writing in my work, fueled by my love for comics, zines, and journaling. My work often includes storytelling, but I also aim to bring the playful imagery of my childhood imagination to life and touch on social issues and my personally lived experiences.
Some of my biggest inspirations are comic artists such as Robert Crumb, Lynda Barry, Phoebe Gloeckner, and Marissa Moss’s Ameilia’s Diary series from the 90s, along with all of the creatives I grew up around in Portland Oregon in the early 2000s.
Currently, my work mainly involves illustration on functional and sculptural ceramics, and zine-making.
